JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our growing team.

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer & Team Lead to spearhead our new website implementation, optimization, and ongoing CMS management. The ideal candidate will excel as our subject matter expert in web technologies, encompassing CMS and a wide range of integrated systems such as PIM (STIBO), Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, retail product syndication, CASL bilingual compliance, and AODA accessibility compliance. As an integral part of our team, you will provide strategic leadership for our website, maintain compliance, and ensure seamless integration with third-party software and data solutions.

 

Development & Integration

  • Research, analyze, plan, design, develop and test new features, APIs, as well as performance, quality, and scaling enhancements
  • Master our new website CMS, while developing and optimizing custom functionality and API integrations with various systems, including STIBO PIM, Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, retail product syndication, CASL bilingual compliance, 3D AR product configuration, NETX DAM, and AODA accessibility compliance
  • Drive website platform development and optimization, emphasizing seamless user experience, Google Analytics 4 integration, and personalized content. Utilize existing code libraries and architecture while crafting high-quality code and strategically analyzing projects to devise solutions that maximize results and minimize costs

 

Code Quality & Collaboration

  • Champion clean coding principles, version control, and industry-standard best practices while developing well-documented and commented code for maintainability and efficient collaboration
  • Perform code reviews, provide mentorship, and assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring consistent code standards across the codebase
  • Maintain platform security, speed, and compliance by staying up-to-date with the latest security standards and technologies, and proactively monitoring vulnerabilities

 

Project Management & Scrum Leadership

  • Estimate and scope development projects, breaking them down into tasks and organizing them into sprints to meet timelines while validating designs for feasibility and alignment within scope
  • Act as Scrum Master for everything web-related, ensuring efficient project execution by facilitating communication, removing obstacles, fostering a positive team dynamic, and continuously improving agile practices and processes
  • Proactively conduct audits on website, e-commerce channels, and partner platforms to enhance user experience and optimize customer order journey across various channels, including internal quoting software (QuikQuote) and e-commerce platforms (MyCD THD, Paradigm Lowes)
  • Collaborate with other leaders to develop technical strategies that encourage optimal growth for the team and product
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators, analyze trends, and provide insights for data-driven decision making

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development, with a focus on ASP.NET, .NET, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, Next.js, Vue.JS, NodeJS), SQL, Git – managing branches, pull requests, and resolving conflicts
  • 3+ years managing e-commerce projects from conception to completion
  • Project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master)
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and experience running workshops to identify and define user requirements
  • Familiarity with microservices, service-oriented architectures, and highly interactive and personalized website development
  • Excellent project management, leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a patient and friendly demeanour
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and self-motivation capabilities
