Receptionist – Toronto (Vaughan)

 

Summary 

 

The ideal candidate will require excellent communication skills and possess a friendly and helpful disposition. This person will also have strong organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and must possess the ability to evaluate and prioritize incoming and outgoing information as required. Being self-directed and motivated as well as having previous switchboard operation experience are definite assets to be successful in this position.

 

 Responsibilities/ Qualifications

  • Answering and redirecting telephone calls on the switchboard as required.
  • Receiving and directing the general public as needed.
  • Organize and make arrangements for daily courier pick-ups, manifests and mail (regular, Loomis, Envoy, etc).
  • Administer the ordering and purchasing of stationary items as well as some other office items as required. 
  • Administrative filing, doc-link filing, indexing, clerical tasks as well as other tasks as assigned by their Manager.
  • The successful candidate must possess a sense of urgency and accountability and have excellent time management skills.
  • College diploma or university degree is required
  • Accounting experience is desired

  • Must have proven problem solving abilities and be solutions oriented.

  • Must be reliable with a dependable nature.
