E-Commerce Manager

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a E-Commerce Manager to join our growing team.

 

As the E-commerce Manager, you will spearhead product marketing and commercialization enhancement, ensure channel compliance and efficiency, and make data-driven decisions. Your proficiency in data-driven decision-making, market analysis, and omnichannel customer journey optimization will be instrumental in advancing our competitive edge in the market.

 

Strategy, Analysis, & E-commerce Operations

  • Conduct comprehensive business and competitive intelligence analysis across digital and traditional channels, monitoring industry trends and product performance to identify future marketing opportunities
  • Leverage business, market, customer, and competitive intelligence to inform data-driven decisions, establish clear KPIs, and implement continuous improvement frameworks like DMAIC
  • Experiment with innovative marketing tools, techniques, and analytics to drive growth and optimize user experience across websites, e-commerce channels, and partner platforms
  • Analyze and report on sales analytics, web analytics, and online orders, fulfilments, and returns, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization
  • Own, maintain, and optimize our digital product catalogue, PIM systems, CMS integration, and product syndication platforms (STIBO, Salsify, Commerce HUB), ensuring AODA/GDPR/bilingual compliance
  • Continuously improve the overall customer journey, tracking and enhancing key metrics (conversion, AOV, repeat purchase rates) to drive e-commerce growth
  • Lead project management for process improvement activities on e-commerce sites, focusing on service level, cost reduction, and quality improvement

 

Customer Experience & Journey Management

  • Support and optimize the customer journey and lead management, coordinating with manufacturing, sales, and retail partners for a unified customer experience
  • Design and optimize omnichannel personalized customer journeys, focusing on retail website and e-commerce optimization
  • Collaborate with brand management to execute Voice of the Customer (VOC) initiatives within product teams
  • Lead customer segmentation strategies and personalized communications to increase sales, purchase frequency,  and engagement
  • Conduct in-store visits as required

 

Project Management & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Demonstrate exceptional project management, budgeting, and communication skills, with a proven track record managing e-commerce projects from conception to completion
  • Oversee the successful (in-scope, on-time, and on-budget) delivery of cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with departments including Web Development, Sales, Manufacturing, Stores, Delivery, Customer Care, and IT
  • Work with internal manufacturing teams and external partners on store-level/deal-level activations, including on-time and in-full delivery, packaging, promotions, and accuracy
  • Lead, add value, and implement special projects, taking a leadership role in cross-category and inter-functional projects as appropriate and requested

 

Training & Development

  • Support development and management of product training and Learning Management System (LMS) content to enhance customer and salesperson intelligence

 

Technical & Web Development Skills

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
  • Understanding of web analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • Core understanding of SEO best practices

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing e-commerce projects from conception to completion
  • 3+ years of experience in working with or developing e-commerce operations systems
  • 3+ years of experience working across e-commerce project launches and managing project rollouts online and in-store
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a patient and friendly demeanour
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
