Shipper & Receiver - Level III

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Shipper & Receiver - Level III to join our growing team.

DUTIES:

• Securing finished goods and/or parts in trailer – using staple gun/belts.

• Unload trailers with raw material and store in proper homes.
• Supply the production with materials.
• Offload production lines.
• Cleaning inside trailer prior to loading it with finished goods.

• Lifting various size doors and materials. (HEAVY LIFTING REQUIRED AT TIMES)
• Accurately scan finished product before loading on trailer and mark paperwork with accuracy.
• Pick and stage millwork and interior door product.
• Inspect loaded product.
• Support cycle counts throughout department.
• Drive forklift and conduct daily inspection forms.
• Must wear necessary safety equipment & follow all safety rules.
• Must keep work area clean & organized.
• Comply with all JELD-WEN EH&S requirements, PPE requirements, legal requirements including policies, standards, rules, and programs and follow the JELD-WEN values.
• Any other duties assigned by your lead hand or manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be physically able (lifting up to 50lbs)
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must be able to become certified in PIT training (forklift)
• Know how to use tape measure (English & Metric)
• Must be a team player.
• Must be quality oriented. 
• Must be willing and able to learn products and Quality Control guidelines.
• Must be able to read and understand Work Order Tags and Paperwork
• Must have good verbal communication skills.
• Must possess excellent time management skills.
