We are seeking an experienced quality professional who is ready to step into a broader Quality Manager role. • Establish risk-based incoming, in-process and final inspection requirements, including measurement and calibration controls
  • Coordinate internal, customer, external and certification audits
  • Partner with Purchasing on supplier quality containment and corrective action

  • Typically 3 to 5 years of progressive manufacturing quality experience, including coordinating quality activities, corrective actions or inspections
  • Experience directing, coaching or supporting quality inspectors or production employees is preferred. Formal management experience is an asset, not required

  • Practical experience with 5 Why, cause-and-effect analysis, Pareto analysis, 8D or similar problem-solving methods
  • Experience with inspection methods, measurement equipment, calibration, document control and quality data
  • Clear communication, sound judgment and confidence making evidence-based decisions
  • An ASQ certification or equivalent quality training is an asset, not a requirement

What Success Looks Like:

  • Nonconforming product is identified, contained and controlled before use or shipment
  • Corrective actions are completed on time and demonstrate sustained effectiveness
  • Customer, supplier and internal quality issues decline through stronger process controls
