JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary responsibility is to process all shipping paperwork.

 

Preferred Skills:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint

- Working knowledge of pivot tables, Vlookups, Graphs and Macros

- Good time management skills

- Strong organizational skills

- The ability to work under tight deadlines

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

 

· The shipping Clerk will be examining documents, materials, and products, and monitors work processes, to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.

· The shipping clerk reviews documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and materials requirements, and material priorities. For shipments.

· The shipping clerk confers with department group managers and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.

· The shipping Clerk revises production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, marketing, sales.

· The shipping Clerk confers with established personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities, and to resolve complaints or eliminate delays.

· The shipping Clerk requisitions and maintains inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

· The shipping Clerk distributes production schedules and work orders to department

· The shipping Clerk must pass the Skin test and Frame code test
