HSEQ Manager

Are you an experienced HSEQ Manager within a manufacturing environment looking for a new challenge?

Your role

Your role will be to identify, lead and deploy Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality initiatives across Vääksy plant to deliver quantified bottom line performance improvement.

 You will be responsible for driving projects to accomplish our HSEQ goals within factory and establish a HSEQ culture with Safety being the number one priority.

What your impact will be

• Improving and maintaining HSEQ culture
• Support Plant Manager and first line to develop and deliver a Safety culture 
• Drive the management system to control daily S(afety), Q(uality) performance and continuously challenge the status quo
• Support the local teams by asking the open questions to ensure we have the right understanding and actions.
• Help fix the daily issues by providing the right questions, tools and techniques to the leadership team.
• Drive on the job training that educates the leadership team.
• Support Plant Manager to run environmental development initiatives and take care of the law related actions and reporting
• Set the expectation to the business in deploying HSEQ in the business.
• Ensure compliance with related local legislation requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• The successful candidate must have strong experience in a previous HSEQ role within a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge in Lean and Continuous Improvement

• A university degree in occupational safety, health and/or environment management or the equivalent vocational qualification
