JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager - Seattle, WA to join our growing team.



The VPI Territory Manager (TSM) is responsible for prospecting, developing, and maintaining key accounts within a specific region with the sole objective to ensure sales targets established for the region are met. Selling responsibilities involve being closely networked with major architect, general contractors, dealers, and development firms.  The TSM is required to forecast, manage, and report sales pipeline activity on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. The territory covered in this role will span across Western Washington.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and achieve annual sales forecast and expense budget.
  • Aggressively pursue and secure new sales opportunities.
  • Plan activities, manage accounts, manage contacts, identify and track opportunities, manage leads and communicate pertinent information.
  • Use CRM tools as provided to manage above activities.
  • Assist with dispute resolution.
  • Provide product and solution expertise.
  • Provide continuing educations for Customers and Architects.
  • Jobsite visits as necessary for product review.
  • Maintain and build strong business relationships.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Business development and new account acquisition experience.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills utilizing strong listening skills and logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas.
  • Operates with high integrity, is productive under pressure, hands-on when needed.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, engineering, or other related fields preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales account management.
  • 3+ years of experience in door and window / fenestration industry.

Expected pay for this role is between $74,200.00 to $123,600.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
