  • MMI DOOR is a wholesale distributor, and part of the JELD-WEN family, of millwork products headquartered in Sterling Heights, MI.  We have supplied home centers and building supply dealers with exterior, interior, commercial doors and other related millwork products for over 59 years enabling MMI-Door to become the largest wholesale millwork distributor in the Midwest. With three locations servicing all or portions of the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic states, MMI-Door’s market area stretches from the Midwest area to the Atlantic Shore. Our product lines are available through most major building supply dealers and home centers within that geography.

 

 

Job Summary:

  • The E-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for growing and managing their on-line portfolio, establishing go to market strategies, using data and metrics to determine next steps, and building a strong relationship with their platform representatives.  They must be able to analyze data to inform management of product and sales trends, make recommendations for product and pricing changes based on market research/actual sales data.  This position involves an extensive amount of time using Excel and/or customer databases.  This role requires regular communication across multiple MMI departments and with external platform representatives or customers in order to maintain the E-Commerce related online content.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

 

  • Manage business relationship with platform representative, as the primary contact
  • Manage the platforms to meet Revenue, GM$, Return %, and other KPI targets
  • Develop tracking and reporting campaign metrics and provide analysis and results
  • Sort, evaluate and identify product to be on-boarded or obsoleted to & from platforms
  • Develop, enter, and maintain product SKU’s, images, content, and attributes
  • Produce dynamic inventory forecasts with Excel and make change recommendations
  • With operations, monitoring product quality and on time delivery
  • Monthly reporting on key metrics
  • Manage on-line promotions
  • Assist with new product development
  • Oversee order fulfillment
  • Handle E-Commerce customer communication and questions
  • Monitor all customer service calls, claims, credits, and LTL damage claims
  • Leads others to adapt processes, solutions, successes, ideas, and participates in continuous teaching about E-Commerce capabilities

 

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, E-Commerce, business, or related field, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the above duties
  • Microsoft Office Excel experience, required
  • Data analytics relative to duties/responsibilities listed above, preferred
  • E-Commerce marketplace and/or digital marketing experience, preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset driving the pursuit of improvement and personal ownership
  • Strong written and oral skills
