JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team. 

 

External Job Description

THE ROLE

 

The Sr. Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing the relationship with current and potential JELD-WEN customers to achieve revenue generation, sales growth and business development. This person is responsible for providing exceptional written and oral sales processing support to current customer base. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to be detail oriented, organized and self-motivated and to have the ability to work independently. 

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for maintaining/developing good customer relationships.
  • Manages a defined list of core customers for that market to support, create loyalty and take a “white glove” approach on delivering the JELD-WEN value for that customer base which includes weekly/bi-weekly touchpoints.
  • Continuously strives to increase customer rapport and satisfaction.
  • Match programs to customer requirements, and close contracts for defined programs.
  • Learns and applies product knowledge to enhance sales and personal professionalism.
  • Processes quotes and orders and provides accurate and competitive customer pricing.
  • Responds to requests from customers for product technical information and gives online presentations and demonstrations.
  • Collaborates with outside sellers, marketing, customer service/care, product management and account management to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings.
  • Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers’
  • Ensures that reporting and communications to management is frequent and bi-directional, including timely preparation of reports.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the JELD-WEN product line and competitor businesses and industries.
  • May perform other or specified duties as directed by Management.

Meet and/or exceed sales growth targets.

  • Establish strong and trusting relationships across the channel network and end-user customers in support of the outside sellers account plans to ensure a deep understanding of all influencer needs and key drivers of value proposition.
  • Driving the customer relationship to become the partner of choice for growth.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  •  Outstanding interpersonal, written and communication skills; as this position will act as primary customer contact and maintain ongoing customer relationships for repeat orders.
  • Must be self-motivated, confident, positive and professional when dealing with both internal and external customers.
  • Must be laser focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Must have a strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Salesforce

 

Education and Experience

  • 2-3+ years of relevant commercial leadership experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline, and a minimum of two (2) years experience in sales support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.  An equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by management.
