Supply Chain Specialist

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our growing team.

Summary:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing inventory adjustments resulting from scheduled cycle counts. This includes resolving discrepancies caused by receiving, shipping, tracking, and scheduling errors. The role requires accurate documentation of changes in compliance with SOX requirements, preparation of inventory reports, and collaboration with various departments to ensure inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inventory adjustments based on cycle count results
• Investigate discrepancies by reviewing receiving records, production schedules, and disposition logs
• Document corrections in accordance with SOX compliance standards
• Prepare and review inventory reports with the Office and Materials Manager
• Collaborate with the data team to resolve BOM issues
• Work with purchasing to expedite materials when needed
• Verify cycle counts and update inventory records in TITAN
• Deploy cases to the data team via desktop systems
• Provide clear, professional communication and training as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• One (1) year of experience with inventory systems/supply chain management.
• OR
• Equivalent combination of experience and training
• Education Requirements:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Relevant experience may substitute for formal education

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Power user able to write high level code in Excel and Power BI
• Ability to respond to inventory-related inquiries professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Initiative and sound judgment with limited supervision
• Experience handling confidential documentation
• Ability to prioritize multiple competing responsibilities
• Technical support experience and responsiveness
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and research skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and interact tactfully with diverse individuals

Working Conditions:

• High level of independent decision-making required
• Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines
• May involve lifting items up to 50 pounds
• Work in open landscape environments with moderate to loud noise and frequent interruptions
• Frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders
• Must always maintain confidentiality
• Travel between warehouse locations required
• Valid Oregon driver’s license required
• Regularly scheduled overtime may be necessary
• Significant computer/tablet use in office and warehouse settings
