We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabricator to support our manufacturing facility through custom fabrication, repair, and modification of shop-built equipment and support structures. This role serves as the site’s primary fabrication expert and plays a key role in improving safety, efficiency, and equipment uptime.

In addition to fabrication responsibilities, this position is expected to provide limited Maintenance Technician coverage during absences, planned outages, or periods of high workload. Fabrication remains the primary focus of the role.

• Communicate project status, priorities, and concerns to maintenance leadership.

Secondary Responsibilities – Maintenance Technician Coverage

• Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repairs when directed.
• Support preventive maintenance activities to reduce downtime.
• Repair or replace mechanical components, guards, brackets, and supports.
• Operate forklifts, lifts, and material-handling equipment safely.
• Participate in planned outages, shutdowns, or emergency repairs as required.

Portfolio of Past Fabrication Projects (Required)

Qualified candidates must be prepared to share examples of prior fabrication or maintenance-related projects. A formal portfolio is not required; photos, drawings, or clear descriptions are acceptable.

Candidates should be able to explain the problem being solved, their role in the project, tools and materials used, safety considerations, and final results or improvements achieved.

Portfolios may be uploaded with the application or presented during the interview process.

Required Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read measurements, sketches, and basic drawings.
