JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr Warranty Analyst / Installation Manager (Upper Midwest) to join our growing team.

 

The Opportunity

As an Installations Manager (Upper Midwest), you will be a key player in the Product Integrity Group and responsible for identifying jobsite assessment of product related issues in the field. In this position you will provide field site information to various departments within the JELD-WEN organization; by defining risk assessment and potential resolution to product related issues with emphasis on root cause analysis, sealants, paints, construction documents, construction processes, job sequencing, and direct customer contact under stressful situations. You will report directly to the Director, Product Integrity.

 

What You Will Do

  • Conduct effective jobsite assessments of product related issues in the field.
  • Communicate findings to various departments within the JELD-WEN organization; by defining risk assessment and potential resolution to product related issues with emphasis on root cause analysis, sealants, paints, construction documents, construction processes, job sequencing, and direct customer contact under stressful situations.
  • Reading and writing/editing reports regarding field notes and photos, read professional journals, write letters, and maintain expense reports.
  • Identify and implement positive jobsite safety strategies.
  • Develop accurate data collection skills.
  • Develop networking opportunities with other professionals Identify targeted audiences.
  • Develop a working knowledge of current flashing systems common in residential and commercial applications.
  • Develop necessary skills to accurately monitor field air/water field testing.
  • Proper use of PPE Proper use of camera and investigative equipment used in field investigative work.

 

Who You Are

  • Minimum education requirement is High School diploma. Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent education preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of background in destructive testing applications and water testing analysis experience. Possess a working knowledge of specialized inspection tools such as bore scopes, moisture levels, IR cameras and moisture meters.
  • Ability to travel 50% -80% and on short notice.
  • Extensive background knowledge in door and window systems; including folding door systems; mulling applications (field and factory), understanding of performance grades (PG), design pressure (DP), performance class of current products plus a working knowledge related to AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440
  • Working knowledge of current industry standards related to field investigation/field water testing: ASTM E2128, ASTM 508, AAMA 501. AAMA 502, ASTM E783, ASTM 1105 and ASTM 2112
  • Professional certifications will be required as part of continuing education.
  • Strong report writing required.
  • Background in current flashing products and overall system installation application (DuPont, Protecto Wrap, OSI, Fortifiber, etc.)
  • Advanced background in reading of calibration reports related to field investigative equipment, water penetration /air infiltration testing equipment Certified Installation masters Installer.

Expected pay for this role is between $74,200.00 to $123,600.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
