JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr Pricing Coordinator to join our growing team. 

 

THE ROLE

 

As a valued member of the Marketing team, the Pricing team will perform various analytical and transactional duties within the Pricing Group.  This position requires the individual to be analytical, detailed oriented, and organized with the ability to apply critical thinking, perform under pressure and interact well with internal and external customers.  

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • SME for pricing and advisory concerning process and requirements on feasibility of pricing product initiatives  
  • Create and maintain price drivers, pricing groups and book code data in Ponderosa system.  Provide information to marketing for price page creation.  
  • Monitor all discounts, price version, and promo code data.
  • Provide Ponderosa, Procon, & Paradigm, analytical support; provide workbooks for testing; Apply standard testing protocols to all catalogs released for pricing sign-off. 
  • Provide JWIT Service Now support for pricing related cases. Work with internal teams to resolve and analyze discrepancies 
  • Engage in weekly meetings concerning strategy, process and provide updates to relevant teams.   
  • Provide pricing/costing support, run costed BOM’s and item reports for pricing information as needed. 
  • Attribute and maintain items for item.cust, both stock and ecommerce for all channels.  Build a program to help support and take over the e-commerce pricing at MMI.
  • Follow SOX protocols for recording maintenance of pricing data. 
  • Daily analysis of the Price Discrepancy Report: evaluate price discrepancies; determine underlying or potential issues; review multiple catalogs between systems and communicate findings to relevant departments; create Service Now tickets.
  • Review sales requests from the special pricing e-mail and program or track appropriately.
  • Communicate with inside/outside sales on pricing issues with margin and competitive analysis.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

 

  • Ability to analyze and comprehend instructions, reports, business correspondence, and procedural documents 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal/external stakeholders 
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and calculate items (discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, etc.). 
  • Ability to deal with practical problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  
  • Ability to assess and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 
  • Strong knowledge of plant builds requirements, custom specifications, product knowledge and pricing theory knowledge. 
  • Proficient in data mining, analysis and reporting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate and comprehensive completion of data requests while managing multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.  
  • Knowledge and familiarity of ServiceNow, Salesforce and Qlikview
  • Ability to sit in an office environment behind a screen for several hours every day 

 

Education and Experience

 

  • Associate’s degree from college or university in business or related field (bachelor’s preferred); three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   
  • Product or industry knowledge (Doors) preferred
