THE ROLE
The Regional Vice President will be a progressive, metric-driven, dynamic leader who brings a cross-functional approach to the organization and customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Partner with the VP of Sales to optimize existing revenue models and create new revenue streams for JELD-WEN's door and window business.
• Translate the company's strategic plan into actionable multi-year sales strategy. Maintain overall responsibility for revenues, pipeline management, and all sales and channel management.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to drive sales productivity across a team in outside sales personnel.
• Empower a proactive and strategically oriented team with a functional account planning process.
• Lead and manage the sales organization and ensure the implementation of financial and performance objectives that appropriately reflect the company’s business goals.
• Serve as a key organizational point person for gaining market insights by driving customer dialogue.
• Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
• Attends and participates in key trade and customer events.
• Communicate the vision and strategy extensively and regularly to all constituents. Mobilize the organization against strategies and programs that drive growth, enhance margins and improve efficiency in all functions.
• Actively monitor changing market conditions, and plan for and implement effective responses.
• Help develop new business opportunities and core areas for growth.
• Lead, develop and motivate the team, ensuring that the resources and organization structure are optimal to deliver the strategic plan.
• Develop relationships with customer executives as well as their teams.
• Partner with the Builder Sales Team to finalize sales growth through the channel.
• Understand market complexities in terms of product assortment, pricing, mix and category developments.
• Implement necessary metrics, tools, processes and system enhancements to drive increased accountability and performance for the sales organization
• Establish strong relationships across the channel network and end-user customers
• Drive the talent management strategy in the sales organization and provide coaching, performance management and professional development activities to ensure successful execution of business plans.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, CRM, and project management tools.
• Travel required: 35% or greater
• Location: Remote, residing in the Western US, with a preference for Texas.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 3 to 5 years in management/leadership roles, executing and assisting in strategic planning; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Expected pay for this role is between $204,600.00 to $341,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
