This position is responsible for inspecting all VPI Window and Door products to ensure the required quality standards are met. This position is also responsible for mentoring, helping and training employees that move finished products to QC for final inspection. 


  • Actively support and participate in the company’s safety and health program. 
  • Visually inspect all finished products and ensure that all products meet or exceed the quality standards. 
  • Check each window against the order information sheet on the computer. 
  • Mentor employees that supply finished products to you to improve the quality daily.  
  • Work with Group leads and leadership team to achieve constant compliance in regards to product quality. 
  • Assist the production line as time allows to meet production flow ensuring the production line does not get backed up with finished products. 
  • Apply all required labels to meet customer and AAMA standards, ensuring that the correct labels are installed. 
  • Complete water testing of windows at minimum twice daily. 
  • Complete weld break testing as required, typically once per day, per line. 
  • When quality issues are found, escalate to their supervisor/group lead, and train the line on how to resolve the quality issue. 


  • Lifting in excess of 50 Pounds, utilizing team lifts for larger units 
  • Standing 10 hours per day 


  • Weekend/Nights – schedule TBD


  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.  
  • 1 year of experience in window production or assembly preferred.   
  • Thorough working knowledge of our window systems 
  • Ability to compute basic math problems involving fractions, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions 
  • Works well in a team environment with a diverse workforce. 
  • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products and general office equipment.
