Maintenance

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Maintenance to join our growing team.

1. BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities maintenance.

2. PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for installing, replacing and/or changing machine parts as needed.
2. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment per the Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule.
3. Keep accurate and detailed records and PM schedules.
4. Performs tolerance checks and makes adjustments to ensure machine conformance to part quality requirements. 
5. Observes mechanical operation of all equipment to determine machine conformance.
6. Responsible for critical parts inventory management.
7. Facilities maintenance

3. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Skills:

1. Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a good driving record.
2. Must have the ability to perform all aspects of LOTO requirements to meet state and federal standards.
3. Ability to operate all production related machinery to include electric scissor lift, electric pallet jack, fork lift and overhead crane.
4. Must be well organized and be able to self-manage to ensure deadlines are met and projects are completed. 
5. Understanding of basic mechanical assemblies such as bearings, pneumatic cylinders, linear rails.
    

        Experience:

1. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a trade or hobby equivalent to a maintenance lube technician such as manufacturing, construction or mechanic.

Expected pay for this role is between $26.15 to $39.23  per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
