About the role
In this role, you will be a driving force behind product development. From concept to completion, you’ll work on improving existing products and developing new. You’ll be R&D project lead, including managing specifications, lead of prototype manufacturing, coordinate testing in internal and external labs, ensuring they meet rigorous European standards and implementing to business and processes. You’ll focus on optimizing and standardising products, improve product margin via engineering, you’ll work to add value to our existing and new products. Your expertise will also shine through in creating precise SolidWorks models and technical documentation that support product specifications and training.
Collaboration is central to our success. You’ll work closely with Product Management, factories, suppliers, certification bodies, and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. Your technical insight will guide projects and provide valuable support across the organization.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a strong engineering background, ideally with a relevant degree and at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or laboratory environments.
- Is confident in product development and knowledgeable about materials such as wood, aluminum, steel, glass, and hardware.
- Is proficient in SolidWorks and ePDM (CSWP certification is a plus).
- Brings an understanding of fire, smoke, acoustic, and burglary protection standards (advantageous but not required).
- Communicates fluently in Danish and English.
- Works in a structured, proactive way and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
