We are recruiting to join the growing digital marketing team. The Digital Marketing Manager UK & France will be responsible for developing and executing the digital marketing strategies within both countries.

 

Working closely with the local Trade Marketing Managers, the European Digital Marketing team, and the Internal Digital Operations Team you will act as the driving point for results driven digital marketing activities.

 

You will also be responsible for developing the early talent of 2 Digital Marketing Apprentices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as a point of advice for local marketing teams providing direction and implementing changes in the website CMS including; creating, managing and editing content.

  • Working with Search Digital Specialist to understand how to improve search engine ranking to drive organic traffic, implementing recommendations and working with local teams to create new content.

  • Working with Paid Digital Specialist to develop paid search strategies for both countries to drive quality traffic within specified budget.

  • Monthly creation of UK social media plan to achieve specific objectives, includes creation and publishing of content and management of the community. This includes the creation, execution and reporting of paid social activities inline with wider marketing campaigns.

  • Working with local Trade Marketing Managers to execution monthly email marketing communications.

  • Act as project lead for any digital project such as web development, database  updates etc.

  • Work with various external digital agencies where required.

  • Develop the skills and knowledge of two Digital Marketing Apprentices.

 

Experience/ Knowledge Required:

 

  • Experience of working with a team to develop digital marketing strategies and executing of activies

  • Experience with email marketing and email marketing platforms preferred

  • Applied knowledge of Web Content Management Systems, Kentico advantageous but not essential

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools or similar

  • Previous experience of managing social media platforms

  • Previous work experience copywriting (blogs/articles) and short-form social content (titles, CTA’s, headlines)

  • Excellent English language communication, French language advantageous but not essential

  • Image editing tools such as Photoshop - advantageous but not essential
