As we embark on a new Pan European solution, we have an exciting and new opportunity for an IT Junior Project Lead who is an IT (HR Systems) Project Manager to ensure the successful roadmap of our substantial system implementation. 


As the DACH Junior IT Project Lead, you will drive successful change by leading projects, with access to Global senior stakeholders and work collaboratively with the European IT Operations, Infrastructure, Applications and Compliance Teams.  Being an important part of cross-functional Business teams to plan, develop, implement, maintain, and enforce the comprehensive project management governance, associated with all aspects of the IT projects.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, working within a team of other dedicated IT Project Managers, and ‘Citizen’ Project Managers from the wider IT and business teams. 
The role is remote and can be based anywhere in Germany.  Hybrid working can be accommodated dependent on candidates’ location.  Fixed term contract 12 + months, this role has a longevity, therefore there are opportunities for progression and development for the right candidate. 

 

 

Your Role and Impact:

 

•            Support the successful delivery of IT projects on time, within budget, and in line with project goals.

•            Help ensure consistent and professional experience for customers and stakeholders by following our internal project management processes.

•            Assist with analyzing and mapping business processes.

•            Contribute to identifying and resolving project risks, issues, and changes—especially in projects involving different teams.

•            Coordinate with internal teams and partners to make sure projects have the right resources and skills at the right time.

 

What You’ll Bring:

 

•            Strong communication skills in both German and English.

•            First-hand experience or a strong interest in IT Project Management (experience with HR systems is a plus).

•            Ability to work with different teams and possibly external vendors or partners.

•            Exposure to IT improvement or transformation projects is an advantage.

•            Comfort working with numbers—any financial background or experience preparing business cases is a plus.
