Overview of the role


Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, the Sales Office Coordinator will deal with customer enquiries via emails in a polite and efficient manner, whilst following company procedures. The role will also involve giving world class levels of customer service in line with the JELD-WEN standard of acceptance and in accordance with JELD-WEN values and expectations. This is a Full-time, permanent role based in our Sheffield office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • To deliver exceptional customer service, both verbal and written on every interaction with the customer.
  • To process customer orders
  • To follow company processes & procedures on each call & email
  • To enter data into Titan and Salesforce to a high degree of quality.
  • To identify sales opportunities within customer queries & quotes.
  • To make outbound calls to customers notifying them of failure dates
  • To sound positive, enthusiastic, interested & professional in all customer communication.
  • To escalate customer dissatisfaction with product supply
  • To work collaboratively with your colleagues and support in any activity to benefit the customer.



Experience and Background Requirements


  • Previous experience in a customer facing environment (call centre, customer service role, retail etc.), dealing with a high volume of work and ability to manage difficult calls
  • A passion for customer service
  • Familiar with working in a target driven environment
  • Experience with problem solving within a customer facing environment
  • Enthusiastic and a great communicator
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written processes & procedures
  • A team player and a fast worker
  • Basic knowledge of Excel spreadsheet
  • An understanding of Sales Forces is a plus but not mandatory
