We are now looking for an experienced Design to Value Project Manager to join our team!


The Design to Value Project Manager (DTV) role will implement a systematic method to improve the "value" of goods or products and services by using an examination of functions. The role will look at the value of our products and the ratio of function to cost. This role is to promote the planning and delivery of projects with improved performance.


The role is responsible to coordinate a portfolio of projects taking place in multiple plants across Europe focused on Design to Value. Main purpose is to optimize usage of resources from different departments to secure a maximal output in terms of value generation, while reducing the time needed to achieve such goal.



  • Ensure adherence with all compliance standards and operate with integrity at all times.
  • Indirectly manage and coordinate a large cross functional team in different projects across Europe to secure plans are executed accordingly, maximizing Design to Value results.
  • Secure all processes are followed securing a sustainable income and outcome of activities according to available resources, but also looking for opportunities of increasing the VAVE organization efficiency year over year.
  • Be a steward of VAVE activities in the organization, making the best area to work while creating awareness of the importance of the activities in alignment with company strategy
  • Identify, initiate and coordinate the VAVE project portfolio through a mature Project Management structure, considering behaviors, tools, methods and routines.
  • Connect and live long term partnerships with several peers in Operations, R&D, Product Management and Finance area, being recognized as the ambassador of the area throughout the European organization
  • Guarantee proper resourcing of the different activities through awareness, internal partnership, identifying new ways of working, addressing bottlenecks and properly escalating challenges when needed.
  • Prioritize projects according financial evaluation of initiatives, using the proper assessment tools at each stage gate to facilitate decision making



  • Minimum 5 years experience in Project and Portfolio Management
  • 5+ years experience in R&D/Operations would be desirable
  • Knowledge in industrial, large scale manufacturing of goods (B2B/B2C are both acceptable)
  • Experience with VA/VE or DTV activities in a market leader organization would be desirable
  • Knowledge in development of business cases for guaranteeing proper project execution
  • Timber, Mechanical engineer or related background
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
  • German written and spoken would be an advantage but not essential
