We're looking for a Door Kits Estimator to become part of our growing commercial team. As one of the world's leading manufacturers of doors and doorsets, we're investing in 
the future, and our new Sheffield site is at the heart of that journey.

 

Working in a modern, purpose-built facility, you'll support customers and colleagues by producing accurate, commercially competitive quotations for both standard and bespoke commercial doorsets. If you have estimating experience, an eye for detail and enjoy working with technical information and customer requirements, we'd love to hear 
from you.

External Job Description

Provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, installations and communications. Ensures that good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively and in accordance with the consumer laws. Develops organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers. Develops improvement plans in response to customer surveys. Has full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable work experience. Completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial and conflicting data. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions.

What impact you will make:

 

  • Prepare accurate and commercially competitive quotations for standard and bespoke commercial doorsets.
  • Interpret drawings, specifications and customer requirements to deliver compliant solutions.
  • Support customers and internal teams with technical guidance and quotation queries.
  • Help drive continuous improvement in estimating processes, tools and pricing accuracy.

 

What you'll need to succeed:

 

  • Previous estimating experience within construction, manufacturing or building products.
  • Knowledge of technical drawings, specifications and building regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel; Salesforce experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
