Here at JELD-WEN Europe, a global organisation that produces and manufacturers Doors and Doorsets, we’re looking for a Salesforce Quality Assurance expert to be based in the UK. This is a home-based role working within a growing cross functional team and offers the opportunity to be hands on with the latest Salesforce products.
Reporting to the Salesforce Platform Manager you will be instrumental to the expansion of the European Salesforce solution, a major contributor to our business's wider transformation goals.
We are seeking a Salesforce expert with a passion for ensuring quality assurance on all our Salesforce estate deliverables. You will be able to develop your existing technical knowledge of Salesforce together with your existing QA skills to add value across both technical and business operations. Although previous experience working within a global Manufacturing or Production business would be an advantage, this is not essential, as the successful candidate will be keen to learn about our business to understand the ‘why?’ and the impact of business processes.
The Salesforce Team is a growing team during an exciting time at JELD-WEN where a global transformation program is driving the business forward with projects which include CPQ, Telephony and a new Salesforce Org roadmap amongst other initiatives related to the Salesforce Estate.
We offer this role on a permanent basis, working remotely, a competitive salary, 25 days holiday, 7.5% pension and Medicash health plan.
What your impact will be:

Collaborate with Product Owner, Sales Operations and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing and coordination of release activities.

In depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end to end functional and automation testing.

Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.

In depth functional testing – Must be able to evaluate functional stability to ensure business requirements are being met and are “fit-for-purpose” through end to end functional and automation testing.

Work closely with software developers and sales operations to resolve issues.

Clearly communicate any obstacles to completing your work, to raise awareness and avoid project impediments and overall deployment timeline disruption.
What you'll need to succeed:

Expert experience in Salesforce.com platform, with relevant Salesforce Certifications & willingness to work toward further certifications.

Experience in a Quality Assurance role with any automation testing experience being an advantage.

A desire to understand the impact, and ‘why?,’ of the business processes.

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Knowledge of testing integrations, end-to-end system processes.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and identify root causes.

Attention to Detail, with a keen eye for identifying issues and inconsistencies.

Adaptable, with a flexible approach to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Experience in using Jira, Confluence etc.

Experience in working with both business and I.T stakeholders.

Any knowledge of Git workflows, expertise in Git operations, and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions would be an advantage.
