Job Description

Position Summary

The Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all administrative, customer service, production support, shipping, receiving, inventory control (both raw materials and consumables), and clerical functions at ABS Sacramento. This role ensures accurate order processing, production reporting, inventory transactions, shipping documentation, receiving documentation, customer communication, and office operations that support the manufacturing facility's daily performance.

The Office Supervisor serves as a key liaison between Manufacturing, Sales, Customer Service, Scheduling, Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure operational excellence, accurate data management, and timely customer communication. Success in this role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment.
  • Experience leading administrative or customer service teams.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and production-related business processes.
  • Strong understanding of order management, scheduling, inventory, and shipping processes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong customer service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the door, millwork, building products, or manufacturing industry.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience.
  • Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, or business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain processes.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly visit production areas.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods.

Expected pay for this role is between $63,500.00 to $105,900.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
