Summary: The National Accounts Sales Supervisor will work closely with all staff employees to ensure the delivery of world-class reliable service. This position is regarded as the product knowledge specialist for the National Accounts sales team and our retail customers.  This position also understands all ABS/JELD-WEN policies and processes and is responsible for working, assisting, and supporting other members of the department to ensure all customer accounts are receiving best-in-class service. This position is located in Sacramento, CA and reports to the General Sales Manager.


Principle Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Leads the National Accounts department, participates in leadership team meetings and ensures expectations and job functions are maintained and followed.
  • Is the subject matter expert on products and processes.
  • Manages the daily workflow to ensure departmental goals are met.
  • Leads staff to manage daily duties within policies and procedures.
  • Provides continuous training, coaching, and feedback to staff associates as needed.
  • Performs staff evaluations and audits performance standards throughout year.
  • Responds to escalations and plays an integral part in customer relations.
  • Develops strategies to manage absenteeism and inconsistent work volume.
  • Monitors the quality and accuracy of the work performed by staff employees.
  • Maintains an expert understanding of ABS products, services and operations to better meet the needs of the customer and the needs of the company.
  • Serves as department liaison between sales and operations.
  • Ensures all policies, procedures, and goals are followed by staff.


Preferred Experience:

  • Product knowledge related to doors, frames, hardware and molding
  • Proven sales leadership
  • Strong computer skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Excellent communication and teambuilding skills
