Inventory Control Coord

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Inventory Control Coord to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld-Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows and Millwork, currently has a position available for an Inventory Controller assist our Manufacturing Division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for accurately maintaining detailed records of inventory, including: physical inventory, orders, transfers and cycle counts
• Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels
• Ability to critically think and research discrepancies, as it relates to inventory levels
• Reconcile quantity discrepancies between stock and record
• Develops, recommends, and implements new processes and procedures when necessary
• Works with warehouse leadership to ensure procedures are followed, as it relates to inventory used
• Lead teams to perform inventory counts and maintain accurate levels
• Assists with physical inventory

Who You Are

• Previous inventory control experience
• Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel
• Previous clerical experience in a warehouse/transportation setting
• Leadership capability
• Strong organizational skills
• Positive outgoing attitude
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work in a TEAM atmosphere

Expected pay for this role is between $19.09 to $31.78 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
