Hiring Now – Immediate need for new Manufacturing Team Members

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Janitor-Facility Support to assist our Distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.

Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties: 

• Maintain shop floors by sweeping, vacuuming, or mopping
• Remove dust and cobwebs in common areas within the shop
• Gather and empty trash
• Pick up trash and debris from parking lot and around fences
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms
• Maintain cleanliness of employee lunchroom
• Maintain offices by emptying trash, sweeping, dusting furniture and cleaning windows
• Notify management concerning the need for building repairs
• Stock and maintain supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Assist the maintenance department as directed
• Basic knowledge and safety requirements for handling cleaning and disinfecting chemicals.

Expected pay for this role is between $18.53 to $20.49 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
