THE ROLE
The Sales Director will be responsible for managing all aspects of the JELD-WEN Distribution retail sales channel. The role will support mianly Lowe's, Home Depot, and Menard's along with .com business. The ideal candidate must possess and display a positive attitude with relentless passion for growing the assigned business. The position will have a key leadership function within the distribution retail team, while developing and implementing strategies and driving financial results.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Establishes and implements sales strategies to support sales and profit growth within the retail channel and across the JELD-WEN enterprise.
- Manages the account management team and inside sales team members to successfully achieve customer satisfaction goals.
- Cultivate and foster strong working relationships with retail buyers and replenishment teams.
- Positively promotes senior level relationships between the management teams of both companies. Influences business via personal selling ability.
- Analyze POS data to create and drive sales and inventory opportunities with retailers.
- Attends and participates in key trade and customer events.
- Oversees, organizes, and formalizes regular in-person account visits. Establishes objectives with Sales VP and GM to ensure priorities are aligned and supported.
- Leads internal and external business review preparation.
- Coaches and develops future leaders of the business.
- Assists management to determine product needs, pricing, marketing programs, merchandising needs to meet sales and profit objectives.
- Formalizes trade sales agreements to both internal and external customers on a timely basis.
- Ability to manage and plan multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.

- A demonstrated ability to work with financial numbers, both in presentations and in written communications.
- Superior people, oral/written/listening communication skills.
- Proactive, finds ways to do things, not reasons why things can’t be done business approach.
- Be actively involved in critical customer issues and manage to the desired result for JELD-WEN distribution.
- Ability to present professional presentations to multiple level team members, customers, vendors, and others effectively.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business or Marketing. MBA degree is a strong plus.
- 7 to 10 years' senior level experience in the consumer durable products industry through sales, product management, or marketing.
- Experience working with national hoome centers.
- Proven successful track record and relationships are required.
- Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
Travel:
- Travel to meetings, market visits, etc. 50%

Expected pay for this role is between $147,000.00 to $245,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
