Support the Process Improvement Leader by evaluating, analyzing and implementing process improvements.  Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost. Facilitate Kaizen events, perform root cause analysis, support process validations.

Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develps sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements.
  • Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data.
  • Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost
  • Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, perform root cause analysis, support process validations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of an Associate degree and 2 to 5 years of work-related experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skill and Teamwork oriented
  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgement, spell correctly, perform clerical work in a methodical independent manner with speed and accuracy.
  • Experience writing Standard Works, Standard Operating Procedures, reports and or other documents.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Experience solving problems using lean and six sigma tools among others.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations and loud noises.

All safety protocols including OSHA guidelines as mentioned above are mandatory.
