Summary / Objective

Responsible of the building process of interior doors.

Essential functions

  • Assemble doors following the design specification.
  • Press door as per applicable standard work.
  • Prepare material by using the beam-saw, CNC and/or Komo Machine.
  • Able to use hand tools if necessary, to build doors.
  • Inspect and perform quality verification and take the necessary actions.
  • On PUR Line able to inspect, repair, paint and/or wrap doors.
  • Meet production standards.
  • Maintain the area, equipment and machinery in a clean, orderly, and operational condition.
  • Conforms with safety regulations per plant policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of safety glasses, ear plugs, masks, steel toed boots/shoes, and associated safety equipment in order to be on the plant floor
  • Reports unsafe conditions immediately to appropriate supervision
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Required education and experience

  • High School or equivalent
  • At least 3 months of work-related experience at JELD-WEN.
