Shipper & Receiver

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Shipper & Receiver to join our growing team.

Depending upon assignment, successful candidates may do any of the following duties:

·         Maintain high quality standards

·         Select items in the warehouse for shipping from pod and rack storage areas

·         Inspect all outgoing merchandise for quality and accuracy

·         Palletize, band, wrap, and stage material

·         Assist in loading trucks

·         Consistently adhere to safe work practices

·         Maintain facility housekeeping standards

Requirements:

·         Minimum of 1-2 years

·         Manufacturing or warehousing experience, preferably in building materials.

·         Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.

·         Knowledge of the millwork industry is a definite plus.

·         Prior forklift and Cherry Picker experience, including powered lift truck certification, preferred.

Other important qualifications:

·         Positive outgoing attitude

·         Ability to do repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Self-motivated, goal-oriented

·         Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

·         Ability to work individually and as a part of a team

·         Flexible to perform different work assignments as business needs require

·         Able to work mandatory overtime as business needs require

Expected pay for this role is between $25.51 to $27.00  per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
