Logistics/Distribution Coordinator

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Logistics/Distribution Coordinator to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Logistics/Distribution Coordinator to assist our Distribution division’s facility in Rialto, CA in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

What You Will Do

• Confirm daily order shipments and match orders with delivery tags. 

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating job site deliveries and production order flow, ensuring safe and on-time pickup and delivery. 

• Distribute and slot tickets as required. 

• Provide customer service and support to customers via the phone and email, as well as will-call. 

• Communicate customer service needs with drivers, sales, and operations. 

• Update scheduling database with ticket details. 

Who You Are

• Solid customer service background 

• Answering a high volume of calls from Drivers, Customers, and Sales Team 

• Logistics or transportation experience 

• 2+ years of basic computer skills, with ability to be trained on company software 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

• Positive outgoing attitude 

• Self-motivated, goal-orientated, excellent work habits 

• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

• Promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere 

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Expected pay for this role is between $19.09 to $31.78 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
