The Role:

 

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Residential Inside Sales Representative for Residential Doors and Hardware to join our talented team of professionals. This person will work with an experienced and respected sales team representing and selling our extensive line of residential door products. 

 

This role is based out of our Rialto office, and candidates must live locally to be considered.

General Description of Duties:

  • Maintain and oversee residential product lines
  • Receive high volume of incoming telephone calls and emails
  • Process and maintain customer orders
  • Maximize margin on sales
  • Provide price quotes and quote follow-up
  • Provide high level of customer service in answering customer inquiries and solving customer challenges
  • Use selling skills to convert sales inquiries to orders
  • Regularly reads trade publications and attends product knowledge (PK) seminars to stay current on industry trends and new product offerings in the Door and Hardware Market

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or the building products industry
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Excellent work habits
  • Positive outgoing attitude
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented
  • Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Residential door and hardware product knowledge

Expected pay for this role is between $44,300.00 to $73,800.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
