Hardware Shipper & Receiver

American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Shipper/Receiver in our Hardware Dept. - to assist our Distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces, and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.

Pay: $25.51-$27.00

Shift: 1st Shift (8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. w/Mandatory OT when needed)

General Description of Duties:

• Pull daily hardware orders
• Stock incoming inventory
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• Order picker & Sit-Down experience required
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Maintain facility housekeeping standards
• Consistently adhere to safe work practices
• Operate keying equipment
• Receiving product
• Some computer skills required

• Positive outgoing attitude
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, excellent work habits
• Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Promote and maintain a TEAM atmosphere

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
