American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Shipper/Receiver - to assist our Distribution division in providing value-added goods and services to our customers.

Hourly Rates starting at $26.51 - $28.00

Shift: 2nd  Shift (6 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. + OT)

We Make Doors – Where they lead is up to you…

Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties: 

• Inspect incoming loads
• Check shipping documents for correct customer information
• Operating propane and electric forklift vehicles
• Order Pickers, Stand-Up Reach & Sit down experienced drivers required
• Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product
• Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• Sorting between good/repairable and broken pallets
• Sorting good pallets by sizes and staging in assigned areas
• Keeping both east and west sides of the parking lots clean
• Switching out trash compactor as needed
• Unloading/loading pallet trucks
• Unloading/loading lumber trucks
• Repairing broken pallets
• Filling up cardboard 40-yard open top
• Filling up trash 40-yard open top
• Organizing the yard and keeping it clean of trash and debris
• Occasional cleaning of the outside perimeter of the facility

Previous experience in distribution or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
