Regional Sales Representative - Long Island

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Regional Sales Representative - Long Island to join our growing team.

 

 

Summary: Responsible for all sales activities in assigned territory to support, develop and drive top line sales growth for the Long Island territory.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Represent JELD-WEN, inc. in an upstanding professional manner.
  • Present and sell company products and sales programs.
  • Train customer sales associates how to sell JELD-WEN products and services.
  • Prepare sales plans and call schedules based on analysis of provided data and market opportunities.
  • Manage stock mix with concentration on correct assortment, rate of sale, safety, and best practice set.
  • Be prepared with current sales numbers for each store call.
  • Suggest assortment enhancements and change opportunities.
  • Manage the Merchandising Execution Team.
  • ISS of JELD-WEN stock products is the responsibility of the MET.
  • Develop and strengthen relations with MEMs.
  • Conduct store walks and training with MET personnel when needed.
  • Document and appropriately escalate issues where MET service is lacking.
  • Support customer efforts to grow special order and Pro Business. This may include blue print takeoff assistance, jobsite visits and pro-sales focused events.
  • Identify and resolve store associate and management concerns.
  • Be able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Qualifications

  • College degree preferred; minimum of high school diploma plus 3-5 years industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A strong knowledge of JELD-WEN window and door products.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent time management and long term planning.
  • The employee may be required to travel in support of sales, training, and service management.  25%+

Expected pay for this role is between $59,300.00 to $98,900.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
