JELD-WEN is one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers. We design, produce, and distribute an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl, and aluminum windows, and related products for use in the new construction and repair and remodeling of residential homes and non-residential buildings.


This position is responsible to proactively review weekly planning reports; determine inventory needs and release purchase orders as necessary.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Returned Material Authorizations (RMA or RMG) for defective product; process freight claims as necessary; negotiate disposition of scrap and rework due to supplier quality.
  • Conduct both on-site and off-site physical inventory counting; perform and audit physical count accuracy.
  • Maintain planning factors part master.
  • Review supplier invoices, verifying pricing.
  • Maintain familiarity with all purchased part profiles, finishes, configurations, sources, and uses.
  • In collaboration with site production managers, ensure orderly and accurate storage of material.
  • In collaboration with site production managers, develop alternate uses for excess/obsolete material.
  • In collaboration with Engineering, Technical Services, and JELD-WEN Management, assist in the sourcing of purchased material for new products under development.
  • Act as the primary conduit between JELD-WEN and its suppliers regarding raw material supply and market costs, process improvements and obsolescence, and other factors which impact supply.
  • Coordinate supplier visits, partner closely with JELD-WEN site leaders on supplier calls and delivery status.
  • In collaboration with Bill of Material personnel, ensure that material relief is accurate; assist in correcting usages where necessary.
  • Complete special projects as assigned: Pricing review, Replacement Parts Catalog, Cost/Price Updates.
