JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join our growing team.

 

Summary

The Production Planning Specialist is responsible for the plant production planning function. A successful candidate will be responsible for identifying orders that have special scheduling requirements, completing the schedule batch and build functions all sales orders. Candidate will also be tasked with directing the printing and sorting of all schedule related production material. Must have the ability to complete day-to-day tasks without immediate supervision, while escalating issues, seeking input from production leadership, and providing guidance reports to the production and plant leadership teams.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares production scheduling special needs orders
  • Alters schedules to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts to customer orders
  • Assists with manual adjustments in Titan of all scrap data
  • Timely responses to internal teams’ questions
  • Prepares production paperwork and other supporting material to production floor
  • Assist in other duties as requested by Managers
  • Communicates changes in production already in process to all necessary team members

  • Solid understanding of wood window and door products

Expected pay for this role is between $22.69 to $37.83 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
