JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Global HR Content Specialist to join our growing team.

 

THE ROLE

Responsible for monitoring the content in our ServiceNow Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) Tier 0 for HR Shared Services. The position will facilitate proactive review of content to ensure it remains relevant to the business process and employee needs.

 

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with content contributors/content owners/SMEs to define and author content (strategy, policy, procedures, news, etc.) in case and knowledge system.
  • Own and manage publishing of content to knowledge management system in ServiceNow.
  • Update documentation based on proactive identification of required content updates and by managing change requests and working with requestors to understand requirements.
  • Respond to notifications about expiring content and act accordingly.
  • Ensure content is always up to date, relevant, and consistent through documentation audits.
  • Work with appropriate parties to manage translation of content as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Communications: Written communications expertise. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a broad business audience.
  • Detail oriented: Detail-oriented execution of routine and complex processes (HR functional / operational knowledge).
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep HR technology expertise. Knowledge of the full HR operations solution and intersection points.
  • Project Management: Demonstrates project management discipline to coordinate with SMEs and functional experts to develop effective content.
  • Tech savvy: Uses technology to improve and automate activities - deeper ServiceNow expertise to manage complex, back-end processes.
  • Relationship management: Effective vendor and partner collaboration for transcriptions services.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, communications, or other related field preferred or equivalent commensurate experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with HR content and a solid understanding of HR processes.
  • Proficient in ServiceNow or other related HR platforms.
