We’re currently recruiting a Production Shift Supervisor to lead our Finishing team.
With the launch of our brand new 3rd line, we’re expanding our capabilities and driving operational excellence. As a Production Shift Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of this journey – leading your team, championing safety, and delivering outstanding results.
Location: Penrith
Shifts: Rotating 3-shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am)

What your impact will be:
- Drive a proactive safety and quality culture through SIO/QIO generation and “first‑time‑every‑time” standards
- Lead hourly boards, ensuring world‑class execution, engagement and continuous improvement
- Connect hourly boards to SQDCIP Gemba, delivering accurate 3C actions and timely closure
- Manage team performance, attendance and discipline while developing skills, capability and flexibility
- Deliver continuous improvement to boost quality, productivity and cost performance
- Own product quality standards and drive system compliance and improvement
- Maintain high housekeeping and 5S standards through audits and Kaizen activity
- Lead shift handovers and operational meetings with clarity and accountability
- Ensure quality checks that protect the JELD‑WEN brand and exceed customer expectations
- Plan resources to achieve weekly KPIs and operational targets
- Build strong, engaged teams and drive positive site transformation
- Champion lean tools, behaviours and continuous improvement across the production team
- Coach team members with clear objectives, structured 1:1s and measurable outcomes
- Promote knowledge‑sharing to accelerate improvement and business results
What you'll need to succeed:
- Ability to champion JELD‑WEN values and a total ‘Safety First’ culture
- Strong continuous improvement mindset, driving capability growth and productivity gains
- Experience of managing a multi-disciplined team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- A proven track record of delivering PSQDCI results
- A positive can-do attitude and a motivational approach to teamwork
- A safety-first mentality.
