Then you might be our new Goods In Administrator at JELD-WEN, Penrith.
This role will commence on 5th January 2026 and will provide administrative support for Goods Inwards Warehouse Functions, ensuring a smooth function between Purchasing, Planning, Warehousing & Logistics Operations. This role focuses primarily on the administrative tasks associated with receiving and processing incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
You will be IT literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft software and IT platforms with the ability to communicate effectively and build effective working relationships with company Suppliers. You will also have the opportunity to become multi-skilled within the department, to assist with holiday and absence cover in the Purchasing, Planning and Despatch departments.

What your impact will be:
- First point of contact for Suppliers / Hauliers looking to arrange deliveries of Raw Materials into the Penrith site, via email & telephone.
- Communicating effectively with Suppliers, Hauliers and Internal Departments (e.g. accounts, purchasing, planning & production) to highlight any delivery-related issues or discrepancies.
- Verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders and other relevant documentation to ensure accuracy of quantity & FSC Certification where applicable.
- Management of the Penrith Delivery Planner for Raw Material Inbound & operations.
- Assist with processing of Non-Conformances through the Inventory System.
- Processing, scanning, filing delivery notes, receipts, and other relevant paperwork accurately and securely.
- Support with maintaining all relevant documentation that is required for Compliance Audits.
- Ensuring work areas are maintained to company standards
- Any other ad hoc Administration requests to support the department
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous Administration experience is essential in a logistics, supply chain or Manufacturing/Production environment.
- Must be IT literate with a strong working knowledge of regular software and IT platforms.
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete daily tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Previous logistics or manufacturing process knowledge is an advantage.
- Flexible, with a positive and proactive attitude with a desire to succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can confidently work effectively individually & as part of a team.
- Flexible approach towards shifts, able to work 2-rotating shift pattern (earlies 6am-2pm and lates 2pm-10pm).
