We’re currently recruiting Engineering Shift Supervisors to lead our Engineering Teams.

 

With a third production line launching in early 2026, we’re expanding our capabilities and driving operational excellence. As an Engineering Shift Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of this journey – leading your team, championing safety, and delivering outstanding results.

 

Start Date: 5th January 2026

Shifts: 78h 2-week rota (day and night shifts) working every other weekend allowing for weekend maintenance. 

 

About the Role

As Engineering Lead Operator, you will play a key role in leading a team of maintenance engineers, driving reliability improvements, and ensuring safe and efficient operations across our production equipment. This is a position that requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of 4 maintenance engineers
  • Oversee and execute preventive maintenance tasks
  • Maintain and update CMMS records accurately
  • Promote and enforce safe working practices
  • Coordinate with contractors for maintenance and repairs
  • Communicate effectively across departments
  • Attend weekly management meetings and support cross-functional goals
  • Support training and development of team members
  • Assist in reliability improvement initiatives

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Engineering background with experience in factory maintenance
  • Familiarity with CNC machines, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, steam systems, and control systems
  • Experience with woodworking machinery and FMCG environments is a plus
  • Strong mechanical and basic electrical knowledge
  • IOSH certification preferred (training available if needed)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
