Shift (if applicable): Weekend Shift +$2.50 Shift differential.

            Friday- SAT-SUN (3 12-hour shifts) 6:00AM-6:30PM

Jeld Wen is one of the Nation’s largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for a Skilled Production Associate in our Special-order department.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.

Successful candidate(s) may perform any of the following duties:

• Accurately read work order details and use measuring tools
• Can read tape measure

• Start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished products
• Prefinishing prep and completion
• Using pneumatic tools
• Building custom doors with an eye for detail.
• Quality focused

Special Requirements:

• Commercial machine operator experience
• Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
• Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
• General knowledge of building materials
• Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
• Works well in a fast-paced, TEAM environment
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
