Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Pataskala

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Pataskala to join our growing team. 

Summary/Objective: 

We are looking for a fantastic Multi skilled Engineer to join our team in Pataskala, Ohio.  Driving our Engineering activities towards world-class performance; make continuous improvement standard practice.

You will set the standards for Engineering, operational activities. Role model behaviors in line with the JELD-WEN standard of acceptance and in accordance with JELD-WEN values and expectations.

• You be part of a multi-disciplined, small team of engineers ensuring that planned and reactive work is completed in line with the site priorities and keeping machinery in production.
• You will assist in the development of the departments Risk Assessment’s, Safe Systems of Work and Planned Maintenance Routines, along with all thing’s continuous improvement.
• Support with the training and coaching with the apprentices.
• You will ensure that the sites CMMS is utilized fully.
• Supports Plant Managers and Leadership team to develop and deliver an engineering continuous improvement culture.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience of a SAFETY FIRST culture.
• Previous experience of a Quality culture of ‘RIGHT FIRST TIME'.
• Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in commercial and industrial electrical installs from the ground up.
• Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E
• Experience in pneumatic equipment installations.
• NVQ or equivalent in both a mechanical and electrical engineering or similar discipline.
• Previous experience of using a CMMS.
• Previous experience of working flexibly, conducting basic problem solving and training others.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
