Role Summary

It is an exciting time to join JELD-WEN as we transform learning across our company. As a key member of the European Talent Development Team, you will use your skills and expertise to help scope, design and deliver innovative learning and development solutions which will continue to build the capabilities of our people and leaders to achieve our ambitious growth plans. 


The role requires strong relationship development and the ability to influence and properly diagnose true customer needs and deliver measurable solutions of value to the business.


Fluency in German and English is essential for this role.


What you will do

  • Facilitate and support the program management of the European Frontline Leaders Development Programme.
  • Support the design and delivery of impactful leadership and management training solutions with potential key focus areas of, change management, performance management, recruitment & selection, D,E&I and employee engagement.
  • Implement and deliver high quality training solutions, offering a blended learning approach.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across our business to agree and produce learning solutions which reflect the needs of the business and are aligned with our people and business strategy.
  • Support talent management initiatives to ensure we have the right people in the right roles, enabling the business to cultivate an effective pipeline of talent.
  • Continually evaluate and measure the impact of training and proactively engage in continuous improvement activities and projects.
  • Gain exposure to critical and/or large-scale talent development and/or process improvement projects on a regional and global basis.
  • Live the JELD-WEN Values and lead by the JELD-WEN Leadership Model, to build businesses ethically and safely, to invest in people, to inspire customers through innovations, to deliver on our promises and to improve every day.


What you will bring

  • Experience of the facilitation and evaluation of leadership and management content and/or programs. 
  • Experience of designing and delivering bespoke learning solutions virtually, in person and blended learning environments.
  • Proven communication skills and the ability to professionally manage expectations, drive communication and operate with clarity and transparency.
  • The ability to interpret as well as challenge customer needs and translate these into a coherent programme of work that will drive business performance.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the end-to-end learning process.
  • Previous experience of Operations Leadership Development Programmes within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
  • Exposure of working in a complex organisation within a matrixed structure would be advantageous.
  • Experience and/or exposure to Project and/or Change Management
  • Previous experience of being in a Leadership or Management role.
  • Knowledge and experience of using online platforms (Teams or Zoom)
  • Experience of working with psychometrics and profiling tools would be desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages


Education / Qualifications

  • DDI Certification: Facilitator Certification Process (FCP) and or Master Certified Practitioner (MCP) would be advantageous for this role.
  • A formal coaching qualification and demonstrated experience is desirable.
  • HR/L&D Qualification, or equivalent higher education qualification is desirable.


Language Skills

  • It is essential for fluency in both German and English languages written and spoken.
  • Additional languages are advantageous, however not essential.


Additional Information

  • Full driving license, with capability and willingness to drive lease vehicles in other European countries.
