Staff Accountant

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team.

The Opportunity

As a valued member of the Finance team, the Junior/Staff Accountant performs accounting functions for LaCantina Doors. This position will report to a Controller and will be responsible for performing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The Junior/Staff Accountant will meet respective deadlines and should possess solid communication, technology, organizational, and analytical skills. 

This is an in-office position in Oceanside, CA.

What You Will Do

•    Prepare and enter journal entries such as accruals, depreciation, and reclasses.  
•    Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables to complete daily/monthly tasks.
•    Prepare documentation as needed for Internal and External Auditors. 
•    Prepare recurring balance sheet reconciliation and perform analysis on related accounts.
•    Ensure internal policies and controls are complied with, including data integrity, asset protection, segregation of duties, budgeting, financial reporting, information systems, and adherence to corporate policies (GAAP, SOX compliance, etc.).
•    Complete and analyze ad hoc reports and projects.

Who You Are

•    High School Diploma.
•    AA or BA/BS Degree preferred.
•    Accounting training or experience.
•    Microsoft Excel and Word experience.

How You Stand Out

•    Experience with Syspro, Systems Applications and Products (SAP), and OneStream a plus.
•    Strong organizational skills.
•    Ability to effectively communicate and interface with all levels throughout the company.

Expected pay for this role is between $61,400.00 to $79,000 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
