Senior Production Specialist

• Develop team members through training, coaching, and conducting written evaluations 

• Improve and maintain department performance according to set objectives and established goals  

• Identify equipment/process problems and communicate necessary maintenance activities as needed  

• Recommend and implement reliable methods for improving department procedures according to customer and quality requirements  

• Resolve employees issues; administer policies fairly and consistently, and assure open communication among all employees  

• Provide leadership for regular team meetings and facilitate proactive problem solving processes  

• Provide accurate and timely production and downtime reporting  

• Coordinate safety processes and education to ensure a safe work environment  

• Communicate with other shift supervisors and production management on a daily basis  

• Other duties as assigned  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

• Strong verbal and written communication skills  

• Proven problem solving skills  

• Must have a track record of consistently demonstrating leadership skills as well as positive influence and accomplishments in safety, quality, productivity, and people development  

• Works well in a team environment with a diverse workforce  

• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism  

• Experience using Microsoft Office products and general office equipment  

• Ability to handle confidential information  

Education and Experience 

• High school diploma or GED  

• 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in vinyl products industry  

• 1-2 years of previous supervisory experience is preferred
