Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Materials Manager, the Scheduler interprets and sequences customer orders, generating daily production schedules and reports.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Attends Gemba and participates in SQDCI Board completion and meetings
  • Run and monitors Production Schedule
  • Act as a liaison with customers (ie stores) 
  • Responsible to update tracker and picklist for outbound shipments
  • Manage and Maintain 3G TMS (Truck routing program)
  • Assign truck numbers and data entry into computer system (Titan)
  • Manage Customer Care and direct customer orders
  • Data entry into customer software programs
  • Management of in-house shipment tracker
  • Create and distribute outbound shipment notifications daily
  • Update and manage direct to store production tracker
  • Maintain freight cost tracker
  • Review all open orders to determine completion and work with managers to gain          
  • Closure and shipment date of product 
  • Wear PPE as required when in the plant 
  • Must be able to work in a TEAM environment and offer Suggestions to improve SAFETY, QUALITY, DELIVERY, COST and INVENTORY 

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong team skills
  • Must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel and other computer software applications
