We are now looking for an Office Manager to oversee all internal sales operations ensuring orders, sales enquiries and estimates are processed diligently and accurately and that customer call handling and services are conducted in a manner that exceeds current market sector expectations through driving continual improvement.

 

This role will also work closely with external sales teams and manufacturing operations to help generate sales growth and reduce costs.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure excellent standards of customer service are achieved through proactively managing and developing employees, processes and systems.
  • Ensure enquiries, quotes and orders are processed effectively and efficiently making sure that RCPS activities happen to all errors which may occur.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement and development.
  • Ensure customers are kept informed at all times on the progress of their deliveries through robust delivery performance and shortfall monitoring. 
  • Monitor all enquires and quotes to fully understand quote won and lost activity and customer behaviour.
  • Oversee the collation and feedback of any information using CRM and relevant communication to external commercial personal.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain excellent working relationships and communication with external commercial and operational personal and departments.
  • Support and guidance to all departments.
  • Conduct regular effective staff appraisals and monitor staff training and development of staff as required.
  • All reports required by the customer service director to be achieved in a timely manner.
  • Provide Health & safety guidance to all staff maintaining and continually developing office housekeeping at all times.

 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Must have a ‘SAFETY FIRST’ culture with a zero tolerance and continuous safety improvement mentality.
  • Previous experience of a similar role within a Manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of success in Leading or Managing a team
  • Experienced problem solver with proven ability to use quality tools to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions to problems
  • Advantageous, although not essential to have knowledge and experience of window, door, door set construction or joinery.
  • Advantageous, although not essential to have knowledge of wood product manufacturing, design and application.
